Two Eddystone police officers were recently honored for their service following a robbery at the McDonald’s on Chester Pike in October. Due to the quick response and the alertness of officers Ryan Sweet and Shane Coyle, the suspect was apprehended and the full amount of $14,000 in stolen money was recovered without incident.
“You showed exceptional performance during the course of your duty. It is important for you to know your good deeds and excellent work are not going unnoticed,” read the commendations presented to both officers. “On behalf of the Mayor, Members of Borough Council and the residents of Eddystone; we thank you for a job well done.”
