April Council Meeting Notes

April 10, 2019

Eddystone Borough Council accepted Amy Reilly’s resignation from the Recreation Board during April’s meeting. We would like to thank Amy for her many years and countless hours of service and dedication to borough residents, especially to our children and to our seniors. Amy will truly be missed by all!

We would like to welcome our new part-time patrol officer Christina Farrell. Christina was sworn in by Mayor Reeves during Aprils Council Meeting. Best of Luck, Christina!

Congratulations to Miss Brooks’ student Sena Salim and to Mrs. McGovern’s student, Savanna Rooney. Both girls won the Women’s History Month Essay Contest which was started over 17 years ago by Despo Tatasciore. Both girls took turns reading their essays in front of a big audience and then presented their mothers with flowers when they were done. The essays were wonderful and the girls did a fabulous job reading in front of a large audience. Way to go Girls!!

Borough Council also adopted Resolution 5-19 in honor of Despo Tatasciore and her 28+ years on Borough Council. Congratulations Despo and thank you for your dedication and support to the Residents of the Borough of Eddystone over your many years on Council. You have been and always will be a true asset to our Community.
